We release the official trailer of The Musk, a film whose development we have followed from the beginning (link to July 18, 2015 news story). The Musk is written, directed and produced by Italian-American newcomer George Nevada and features some names from Italian independent cinema such as director and effects artist Domiziano Cristopharo (House of Flesh Mannequins), here as assistant director and executive producer. Also Italian is Andrea Occhipinti, who plays instead the main character Tony Maio, a farmer who will turn into a dangerous mutant.
The Musk is a slasher movie that pays homage to 1970s and 1980s cinema and incorporates all the clichés of the genre while adding a dash of humor.
Plot: A farmer accidentally comes in contact with a meteorite that transforms him into a ferocious mutant. Disguised as a scarecrow to hide his appearance, the new being begins to be guilty of horrific crimes.
In the cast of The Musk, in addition to Fabrizio Occhipinti, also Frances Williams, Antony Ferry, twins Raphael and Danny Willis, Marcello Iaia, Ruby Miller, Francesca DiCaprio, Gabrielle Bergère and Marcello Toruk Albanesi. FX are by Athanasius Pernath while music is by Antony Coia.
