Universal Pictures has made available the powerful new international trailer for the The Mummy (USA - 2017), il cupo action/fantasy diretto da Alex Kurtzman e interpretato da Tom Cruise. La storia di questa nuova versione de The Mummy presents new gods and monsters who, from the desert, reach a modern London to clash.
The U.S. release date is set for June 9, 2017 while the Italian release date is set for June 8.
Plot: An ancient queen (Sofia Boutella) whose body has lain for millennia in a crypt buried in the desert is awakened in our time. Unjustly taken from life, the creature will unleash hell by externalizing all the hatred and wickedness accumulated over the centuries.
The screenplay is a collaboration between Jon Spaihts and Christopher McQuarrie. The cast includes Tom Cruise, Sofia Boutella, Annabelle Wallis, Russell Crowe, Chasty Ballesteros, Jake Johnson, Javier Botet, Courtney B. Vance, Noof McEwan and Marwan Kenzari.
Director Alex Kurtzman also appears in the film as a producer along with Chris Morgan and Sean Daniel.
