Warner Bros. Italy has shared the Italian trailer for the The Mummy, supernatural horror written and directed by Lee Cronin, the director of The House - The Awakening of Evil (2023).
The film is a new chapter in the franchise The Mummy and stars Jack Reynor, Laia Costa, May Calamawy, Natalie Grace, and Verónica Falcón.
This new monster movie will arrive in Italian theaters on April 16, one day ahead of the U.S. release.
According to the director's statement to IGN, his film was born from the meeting of horror Poltergeist (1982) by Tobe Hooper and Seven(1995), David Fincher's psychological noir.
Jason Blum and James Wan produce the film alongside Cronin through their respective production banners, Blumhouse Productions, Atomic Monster, and Wicked/Good.
Plot: The young daughter of a journalist disappears without a trace in the desert but she suddenly reappears eight years later.
Unfortunately, the joyful family reunion quickly turns into a terrifying nightmare.
