Written and directed by Travis Zariwny, The Midnight Man gode della presenza, nel cast, dell’icona horror Robert Englund (Nightmare) qui nel ruolo del Dr. Goodberry. Oltre a lui c'è anche l'ormai nota Lin Shaye (Dead End, Jack goes Home, Abattoir, Ouija: L'origine del male, Insidious - franchise).
Rummaging through her grandmother Anna's (Lin Shaye) attic, teenager Alex (Gabrielle Haugh) finds instructions for a mysterious game that can awaken "the midnight man," an evil spirit who turns nightmares into reality. Unaware of the consequences, Alex will start playing it involving her friends.
The cast includes Gabrielle Haugh, Lin Shaye, Grayson Gabriel, Emily Haine, Summer H. Howell, Callie Lane, Keenan Lehmann, Meredith Rose, Louise Linton, Abigail Pniowsky, Michael Sirow, Luca Villacis, and Kyle Strauts. The latter plays "the midnight man."
The Midnight Man debuted in the Italian cinemas last Jan. 11.
