Thanks to Midnight Factory, May 17 will be released on home video. The Midnight Man (USA, Canada - 2016), the horror film about the evil entity capable of making its victims' nightmares real. The film will be available in a limited edition with booklet, in DVD and Blu-ray formats.
Written and directed by Travis Zariwny, The Midnight Man enjoys the presence in the cast of horror icon Robert Englund (Nightmare) here as Dr. Goodberry. Besides him there is also the now well-known Lin Shaye (Dead End, Jack goes Home, Abattoir, Ouija: The Origin of Evil, Insidious - franchise).
Rummaging through her grandmother Anna's (Lin Shaye) attic, teenager Alex (Gabrielle Haugh) finds instructions for a mysterious game that can awaken "the midnight man," an evil spirit who turns nightmares into reality. Unaware of the consequences, Alex will start playing it involving her friends.
The cast includes Gabrielle Haugh, Lin Shaye, Grayson Gabriel, Emily Haine, Summer H. Howell, Callie Lane, Keenan Lehmann, Meredith Rose, Louise Linton, Abigail Pniowsky, Michael Sirow, Luca Villacis, and Kyle Strauts. The latter plays "the midnight man."
The Midnight Man debuted in the Italian cinemas last Jan. 11.
