Starting July 20, Sinister Film's “Horror d'Essai” series will also include the DVD of The man who killed in cold blood (Traitement de choc), the thriller/horror film written and directed by Alain Jessua in 1973. The version released by Sinister Film includes Italian and French audio, while the special features section includes a photo gallery.
The DVD of The man who killed in cold blood (France, Italy – 1973) is distributed by CG Entertainment.
In Jessua's film, Alain Delon plays a doctor involved in a special rejuvenation therapy.

Plot: A devastating emotional crisis drives fashion entrepreneur Hélène Masson (Annie Girardot) to seek treatment from Dr. Devilers (Alain Delon), director of an exclusive clinic. Here, patients undergo tissue rejuvenation therapy derived from animal experiments, which is also used by prominent figures from the world of politics and finance. The two become romantically involved, but the woman cannot help but notice the mysterious disappearance of the facility's attendants and also some tragic accidents affecting the paramedical staff (entirely composed of non-EU citizens).
