The Lodgers è stato girato completamente nella Loftus Hall (che quest'anno celebra i suoi 666 anni), nota per essere la casa più infestata d'Irlanda. In base a quanto sostenuto dalla gente locale infatti, fra le sue mura di questa "dimora del Diavolo", si aggira lo spirito di una giovane donna.
The story's protagonists are a brother (Bill Milner) and sister (Charlotte Vega) tormented by an evil spell that forces them to live segregated in the house their parents bequeathed them before they died. When a man takes a fancy to the girl and tries to free her from her psychological and physical prison, his actions will trigger a series of nefarious events.
