With Eagle Pictures comes a second clip in Italian of the horror thriller The Lodge, the new film written and directed by Severin Fiala and Veronika Franz (Goodnight Mommy, episode "The Sinful Women of Höllfall" in The Field Guide to Evil). The film is currently in Italian theaters.
The Lodge premiered at the 37th Turin Film Festival in the non-competitive "After Hours" section dedicated to genre cinema.
Plot: After his wife commits suicide, Richard (Richard Armitage) decides to spend the Christmas vacations in his mountain chalet with his two children Aidan (Jaeden Martell) and Mia (Lia McHugh) and new partner Grace (Riley Keough). An engagement, however, will force the man to return to town for a night, creating an opportunity for the girl to become acquainted with her children, but once they are left alone, a terrible nightmare begins for the three.
The cast of The Lodge consists of Richard Armitage (The Hobbit), Riley Keough (Jack's House), Jaeden Martell ("It" by Andy Muschietti), Lia McHugh and Alicia Silverstone (The Sacred Deer Sacrifice).
