Eagle Pictures has released a first clip in Italian of The Lodge, the horror thriller coming to theaters on Jan. 16.
The film is written and directed by Austrians Severin Fiala and Veronika Franz, the acclaimed directors of Goodnight Mommy and the episode "The Sinful Women of Höllfall" featured in the horror anthology The Field Guide to Evil.
Trama: dopo il suicidio della moglie, Richard (Richard Armitage) decide di trascorrere le vacanze di Natale nel suo chalet di montagna con i due figli Aidan (Jaeden Martell) e Mia (Lia McHugh) e con la nuova compagna Grace (Riley Keough). Un impegno improvviso costringerà l'uomo a ritornare in città per una notte, creando così l’occasione per la ragazza di familiarizzare con i due bambini.

In the cast of The Lodge there are Richard Armitage (The Hobbit), Riley Keough (Jack's House), Jaeden Martell ("It" by Andy Muschietti), Lia McHugh and Alicia Silverstone (The Sacred Deer Sacrifice).
The film premiered at the 37th Turin Film Festival in the non-competitive "After Hours" section dedicated to genre cinema.
