The Lighthouse, scheduled for release in 2019, will be distributed by A24, a company that handled the theatrical distribution of The Witch.
The Lighthouse has to do with terrifying legends about the sea and desolate lighthouses. The story takes place in Nova Scotia in the 1890s and has Old, an old lighthouse keeper, as its protgonist.
Nel cast sono presenti l’attore britannico Robert Pattinson, noto per aver interpretato il vampiro Edward Cullen nella saga "Twilight" e anche il celebre attore statunitense Willem Dafoe ("Antichrist", "Daybreakers – L’ultimo vampiro", "My Son, My Son, What Have Ye Done”).
