The Laughing Mask marks the directorial debut of Michael Aguiar, whose film he also serves as executive producer.
Jake (John Hardy) is a troubled man who cannot rest from the murder of his wife Jaycee (Inge Uys) that occurred at the hands of a serial killer with his face covered by a sneering mask. Now the man's daughter has also been kidnapped, so Jake teams up with Detective Kate O'Malley (Sheyenne Rivers) to track down the killer before it is too late for the girl.
In the cast of The Laughing Mask Fran Rafferty, Inge Uys, Gabriel Lee, Sheyenne Rivers, Isis Masoud, Thomas Noel Smith, and Matt Ganey appear. The serial killer is played by Jeffrey Gwyn Jenkins, an actor currently involved in another horror film (Witch Hollow).
The film is produced by Bravestarr Pictures.
