According to what was revealed by Deadline, Argentine director Alejandro Brugués will direct the horror film The Last Will and Testament of Charles Abernathy for Netflix.
Alejandro Brugués is best known for directing The Zombie Hunter (Juan de los muertos), “E is for Equilibrium” (segment of ABCs of Death 2) e “The Thing in the Woods” (episode of Nightmare Cinema).

Produced by Paul Schiff, The Last Will and Testament of Charles Abernathy is written by Chris LaMont and Joe Russo.
Dan Clarke, on the other hand, is the executive producer.

The story features elderly Charles Abernathy who, on the eve of his 75th birthday, invites his four distant children home because he is convinced that someone or something may kill him that night.
To ensure that his family will help and protect him, Abernathy will put each of their inheritances on the line: if on the very evening of the invitation he passes away, his children will not take over ownership of his estate following his death.
