Midnight Factory has released an Italian featurette on the creation of Chucky, the famous puppet de Child's Play (USA - 2019).
Written by Tyler Burton (Kung Fury 2) and directed by Lars Klevberg (Polaroid), Child's Play (aka Child's Play) is the remake of the 1988 film of the same name directed by Tom Holland and will arrive in Italian theaters June 19 (world premiere) thanks to Koch Media.
Plot: For her son Andy's (Gabriel Bateman) birthday, Karen Barclay (Aubrey Plaza) thought of giving him something really special. It is Chucky, a doll with artificial intelligence. The woman, however, is unaware that she has brought home a flawed toy that lacks limits in learning and use of violence and hides an evil nature.
In the cast of Child's Play there are Gabriel Bateman (Lights Out), Aubrey Plaza (Life after Beth), Brian Tyree Henry (Atlanta), Beatrice Kitsos (The Exorcist) and Ty Consiglio (Wonder).
The film is produced by David Katzenberg and Seth Grahame-Smith, the protégés of Andy Muschietti's IT.
