labambolaassassina2The makers of the dolls Type Beautiful manage to obtain what remains of Chucky's destroyed body and, thinking of some manufacturing defect, recreate the puppet.
Meanwhile, young Andy Barclay (Alex Vincent) is being treated at a psychiatric hospital for juveniles: no one believed Chucky's story, the police remained silent, and his mother also ended up in treatment.
Andy is placed with a new family where he meets Kyle (Christine Elise), a teenager also under the guardianship of the same "parents."
Chucky has no difficulty finding his little friend...

The success of the first chapter spawned several sequels: this is the first, which also did very well at the box office.
Artistically inferior to the previous film, it has a very interesting and lively early part but the pace does not always remain high.
Some murders, such as that of Andy's teacher, are blatantly "phoned-in" and caricatured.
Making a good contribution are the two real protagonists, Vincent and Elise, who in their own way expose the loneliness of those who have lost their parents and must start a new life, with all the difficulties of living as "estanees" in a new family.
Overall a decent film, but advisable only to those who loved the previous chapter.
Lively finale that traces the progenitor, however.
