Variety has revealed that Elisabeth Moss is in talks to join the cast of The Invisible Man, il reboot di Blumhouse Productions. L'attrice è presente in Us, il nuovo horror di Jordan Peele mentre in passato ha recitato in diversi film di genere drammatico (Ragazze interrotte) e anche nell'episodio "Eater" (serie TV horror Fear Itself) by Stuart Gordon.

As announced last January, to direct the reboot of the The invisible man will be Leigh Whannell (Insidious 3 - The Beginning, Upgrade). The director, here also serving as co-producer, has previously worked with Blumhouse Productions (The Purge, Split, Glass, Paranormal Activity) on such films as Insidious: The Last Key and Upgrade.
Some sources deny the presence of Johnny Depp in The Invisible Man. Instead, the actor may be part of the cast of another of Universal's monster-dedicated projects.
Based on the science fiction novel of the same name by H.G. Wells, The invisible man (1933) by James Whale is one of the cinematic works about the "Universal Monsters," characters depicted in a series of films started in the 1930s.
