In these hours, some scene photos (with Uma Thurman and Matt Dillon) of The House That Jack Built, the thriller/horror film written and directed by Lars Von Trier (Dancer in the Dark, Melancholia, Antichrist), and which will appear out of competition at the Cannes Film Festival in May.
The House That Jack Built is a retelling of the Jack the Ripper story and stars Matt Dillon, here as a ruthless serial killer.
Trama: Stati Uniti, 1970. Jack (Matt Dillon) è un ingegnere che sviluppa un certo fascino per la morte dopo aver ucciso una donna che aveva soccorso per strada. L’uomo si convince di dover commettere altri omicidi per raggiungere la perfezione collezionando altre macabre "opere d'arte".
The House That Jack Built is a co-production between Germany, France, Sweden and Denmark. The film is produced by Von Trier's Zentropa Entertainments in collaboration with Copenhagen Film Fund.
Also in the cast are Riley Keough, Uma Thurman (Kill Bill), Ed Speleers (Howl, Love Bite), Siobhan Fallon Hogan, Bruno Ganz, Sofie Gråbøl, David Bailie, and Ji-tae Yu.
The film will be released in Denmark on November 29, 2018.
