The film is directed by Martin Newlin (pseudonym of Fabrizio Laurenti), who later went on to direct other horror films such as Contamination .7, The room next door and the television miniseries Night voices.
House 4 (aka Witchcraft) is the second apocryphal sequel in the series Evil Dead by Sam Raimi, subsequent to House 3 - Ghosthouse by Umberto Lenzi.
Plot: In an old building located on an island off the coast of Massachusetts, wanders the spirit of a witch who committed suicide to escape capture and burning. A young occult science researcher, her photographer friend, a family who would like to buy the structure, and the female architect who accompanies them will be its new victims.
The cast includes Linda Blair (The Exorcist), David Hasselhoff (Piranha 3DD), Catherine Hickland (The Cursed City), Annie Ross (Four Butterflies for a Murderer), Hildegard Knef (The Killers are Among Us), Leslie Cumming, Rick Farnsworth, Robert Champagne, Michael Manchester, and Frank Cammarata.
The House 4 is produced by Joe D'Amato while the screenplay is by Harry Spalding and Daniele Stroppa.
