Jamie Lee Curtis (Halloween) is Madame Leota in the first official image of the horror comedy The house of ghosts (The Haunted Mansion), the new film adaptation inspired by the famous attraction found at all Disney amusement parks.
Produced by Guillermo del Toro and directed by Justin Simien (Bad Hair), The house of ghosts will arrive in theaters on July 28, 2023 distributed by Walt Disney.
Plot: A single mother named Gabbie (Rosario Dawson) has just bought, at an oddly bargain price, a mansion in New Orleans to start a new life with her 9-year-old son, Travis (Chase W. Dillon). Only after the purchase, however, does the woman realize that the home is haunted by ghosts. Desperate for help to drive out the entities, Gabbie turns to a priest, who will contact a paranormal scientist, a French psychic, and a cantankerous historian. The group will try to help mother and son by exorcising the house....
