The Greenhouse Trembles is the name of the new literary and film horror festival organized by La Stazione Cultural Association and to be held in La Serra di San Miniato (PI) on 27 and the June 28, 2014 With free admission.
The day of the June 27 of this first edition of The Greenhouse Trembles, which will be attended by prestigious guests from Italian horror cinema, will be dedicated to artisanal, macabre and rural cinema, especially that of directors Jesus Franco and Dario Argento. During the festival there will be screenings of famous films, book presentations, booths, exhibitions and much more.
The June 28 is dedicated to emerging writers and filmmakers to whom the short story and short film competitions are dedicated, respectively. Having reached the deadline for the submission of literary works, the calls for entries, on the other hand, are still open until the June 20 For those who would like to submit their short films.
The short film competition is organized by The Station Association. The best short film will be awarded €300.
The literary contest, on the other hand, in addition to the Cultural Association La Stazione, is organized by LetteraturaHorror.it and Dunwich Edizioni. Collaborators include several publishing houses, the La Serra People's House, the Local Committee and the sponsorship of the City of San Miniato. The publishing house Intermezzi will participate in the Festival, on the jury.
More than 100 unpublished stories submitted for the contest. The winning stories will be awarded books, and the best will be included in an anthology (in ebook and also paperback format) published by Dunwich Editions.
The awards ceremony will take place starting at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday June 28.
