The Great Buddha Arrival: two new posters for Japanese monster movie

The Great Buddha Arrival (aka Daibutsu Kaikoju) enjoys two new posters created by Yoshiki Takahashi, the artist responsible for the posters of such films as The Machine Girl, Tokyo Gore Police, Yattaman by Takashi Miike and many others. Takahashi is also known for co-writing the screenplay for ColdFish (aka Tsumetai nettaigyo) by Sion Sono.
Produced and directed by Hiroto Yokokawa, The Great Buddha Arrival (Japan - 2018) is a film about kaijū (the typical monsters of Japanese science fiction) and pays homage to the saga Daimajin of the 1960s dedicated to "Daimajin" or the "great god-demon."

The cast is currently as follows: Akira Takarada (Japanese actor primarily known for the Godzilla film series, including the 1954 Godzilla film), Yukijiro Hotaru (Gamera trilogy, Godzilla: GMK), Ippei Ohsako and Inge Murata (both starred in Shin Godzilla), Shelley Sweeney (seen in four Godzilla films), Masanori Kikuzawa, Yuki Morita (Godzilla 2014), Norman England (2 Godzilla films), Robert Scott Field (Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah), Kazuma Yoneyama, Takashi Yasuda, Jun'ichiro Nirasawa and Yoshihiko Ohtsuki (both from Godzilla: Final Wars), Momoka Iwata, rapper Yuma, and Peggy Neal. The latter is known for starring in Japanese sci-fi films such as. The monsters of the sunken city (1966), Earth Odyssey (1967) e Kureji ogon sakusen (1967).

The screenplay of The Great Buddha Arrival was written by Hiroto Yokokawa, Yuki Yonezawa, and Kazuma Yoneyama. The music, on the other hand, is by Hiromi Shinoda.
