After the two new posters, we would like to announce the release of the teaser trailer for The Great Buddha Arrival (aka Daibutsu Kaikoju), the low-budget film about kaijū and in which suitmation and CGI will be featured. Produced and directed by Hiroto Yokokawa, The Great Buddha Arrival (Japan - 2018) is the reboot of Daibutsu Kokaiku (Giappone - 1934).
The film boasts a cast featuring celebrities from Japanese science fiction films such as Akira Takarada (Godzilla, 1954) and Peggy Neal, known for her role in The monsters of the sunken city (1966), Earth Odyssey (1967) e Kureji ogon sakusen (1967).
The screenplay of The Great Buddha Arrival was written by Hiroto Yokokawa, Yuki Yonezawa and Kazuma Yoneyama while the music is by Hiromi Shinoda.
