According to reports from Deadline, Anya Taylor-Joy (The VVitch, Marrowbone, Glass) has joined the cast of The Gorge, the new film from Apple Studios and Skydance Media.
The young American actress and model, soon to be in the drama film Amsterdam with Christina Bale and in the horror film The Menu with Ralph Fiennes, will flank Miles Teller (Top Gun: Maverick).
The script for the project was assigned to Zach Dean, screenwriter of The Tomorrow War - The War tomorrow, while it will be directed by Scott Derrickson, the director of The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Sinister and the recent Black Phone.
No plot details have yet been revealed about the film, however, the project is described as a mix of genres and, more specifically, an unsettling action-packed love story.
