20th Century Fox ha diffuso il secondo trailer dell'horror fantascientifico The Predator. Written and directed by Shane Black (best known for his role as Hawkins in Predator of 1987), this fourth installment of the famous fantasy-horror saga started in 1987 is placed between the events of Predator 2 (1990) and those of Predators (2010), the second and third installments of the franchise, respectively.
The Predator will see the light of day in U.S. theaters on Sept. 14, 2018, while the Italian release date is set for Sept. 27.
Plot of The Predator: After genetically improving themselves by combining DNA from different species, the deadliest hunters in the universe return to Earth even smarter and more ferocious. Unwittingly calling them back is a young boy, and to prevent the end of the human race, a group of ex-soldiers and a science teacher will be forced to intervene.
The cast includes Boyd Holbrook, Olivia Munn (X-Men: Apocalypse), Trevante Rhodes, Keegan-Michael Key, Jacob Tremblay, Yvonne Strahovski, Thomas Jane, Alfie Allen, Sterling K. Brown and Edward James Olmos (Blade Runner). The film's screenplay is by Shane Black and Fred Dekker (School of Monsters, Dimension Terror, Who's Buried in That House?, Helen's House).
