Online a new image of The Forever Purge, l’horror diretto da Everardo Gout (Days of Grace) e prodotto da Blumhouse Productions in collaborazione con Platinum Dunes e Universal Pictures.
Il film ha ottenuto il Rating R per “strong/bloody violence and language” e arriverà nelle sale USA il 2 luglio. Attualmente non è stata annunciata alcuna data di release italiana.
The Forever Purge is the fifth and final chapter in the saga that began in 2013 with The Purge and continued with the sequels Anarchy - Judgment Night (2014) and Judgment Night - Election Year (2016) and with the prequel The first night of judgment (2018).
The screenplay of The Forever Purge è a firma di James DeMonaco, il creatore del franchising The Purge as well as the screenwriter of the other chapters and the director of the first three.
Il regista Everardo Gout ha affermato: “È una storia incredibile di latinoamericani e americani che si uniscono per vincere la disperazione e il male”.
La storia si svolge dopo gli eventi de Judgment Night - Election Year (2016) e vede protagonisti Adela (Ana de la Reguera) e Juan (Tenoch Huerta), due ragazzi che, sfuggiti al cartello messicano, trovano rifugio in un ranch texano. La situazione peggiorerà quando, nonostante la notte dello Sfogo sia stata abolita, un gruppo di estranei continuerà a infrangere qualsiasi regola.
Nel cast figurano Ana de la Reguera, Tenoch Huerta, Leven Rambin, Will Patton, Cassidy Freeman, Ana de la Reguera e Tenoch Huerta.
