The First Omen: possible release in 2023 for prequel to The Omen

Secondo quanto rivelato dall'attrice Nell Tiger Free (Il trono di spade, Srvant) al The Hollywood Reporter, la produzione dell'horror The First Omen is finished and the film could be released in 2023.
"Posso dirvi che abbiamo finito di girare... Amo questo progetto... ne sono entusiasta e molto orgogliosa. Quindi, si spera, esca quest'anno".

L'attrice non ha rivelato nulla sul suo personaggio o sulla trama di The First Omen, a 20th Century Studios film directed by Arkasha Stevenson (Legion), here in her first feature film.
The First Omen Is the prequel to the horror classic about the Antichrist The Omen (aka The Omen) directed by Richard Donner in 1976.

Director Arkasha Stevenson also wrote the script for the film with Tim Smith, who also joins the project crew as a producer for Phantom Four.

The Omen (1976) stars Gregory Peck as Robert Thorn, U.S. Ambassador to Great Britain whose child is stillborn. Distraught with grief, the man allows himself to be persuaded to replace the dead infant with one born at the same time as his own but without revealing anything to his wife. Five years later, however, Greg begins to think that this child, Damien, is the Antichrist.
The Omen (1976) has had three sequels and a remake: Damien: Omen II (1978), Omen III: The Final Conflict (1981) and Omen IV: The Awakening (1991 TV movie).
The remake instead, The Omen, is from 2006.
