Lauren LaVera has joined the cast of The Fetus, an independent horror film featuring Joe Lam as director. The young American actress is best known for playing the lead in the recent Terrifier 2 (directed by Damien Leone), a gory horror slasher loaded with splatter and gore that was a huge success to the point of grossing about $8 million at the box office.
The film is produced by Shining Light Pictures and Barbhouse Productions.
