The Fair of Illusions - Nightmare Alley: the new trailer for Guillermo Del Toro's film

Online the full trailer of the crime thriller The Fair of Illusions - Nightmare Alley (USA, Mexico, Canada - 2021), Guillermo Del Toro's first film since winning an Oscar for The shape of water (2018).
Written by Guillermo Del Toro and Kim Morgan, The Fair of Illusions - Nightmare Alley is the film adaptation of William Lindsay Gresham's novel of the same name, a 1946 literary work already transposed for film by Edmund Goulding with The Fair of Illusions (1947).
The film will be released in Italian theaters on January 27, 2022.

The Fair of Illusions - Nightmare Alley, Bradley Cooper is Stanton Carlisle, a charismatic and ambitious con man with great manipulative skills who makes the acquaintance of the clairvoyant Zeena (Toni Collette) and her mentalist ex-husband Pete (David Strathairn) at a traveling carnival.
Thanks to his new acquaintances, the man will try to swindle the New York elite of the 1940s. In fact, with the help of his faithful friend Molly (Rooney Mara) and a mysterious psychiatrist (Cate Blanchett), Stanton will set up a scam against a dangerous tycoon (Richard Jenkins).

The fair of illusions - Nightmare Alley brings together a stellar cast that includes Bradley Cooper (Next Stop: Hell), Willem Dafoe (The Lighthouse), Cate Blanchett (Lord of the Rings), Toni Collette (Hereditary - The Roots of Evil), David Strathairn (The Assassin's Web), Rooney Mara (Nightmare - 2010), Michael Shannon (Bug - Paranoia is Contagious), Richard Jenkins (Wolf - The Beast is Out), Ron Perlman (Hellboy) and Mark Povinelli.
