Formerly titled In one day the end (aka The End?), l'horror italiano The End? L'inferno fuori (Italia - 2017) esordirà nelle sale cinematografiche del nostro Paese il 14 agosto con 01 Distribution. Diretto da Daniele Misischia (Adrenaline, “Hobo” in Connections, “Il ritorno di Helena” in 17 a mezzanotte, Anna: cronache di un’attrice emergente), The End? L'inferno fuori is a claustrophobic zombie movie in which a man becomes trapped in an elevator as the zombie epidemic runs rampant.
Plot: The cynical and arrogant Claudio Verona (Alessandro Roja) is an important businessman. One morning, on his way to the office to complete a job for his company, he gets stuck in the elevator. The inconvenience caused by the breakdown will be only the least of his problems as the man, stuck between two floors in a metal cabin, will unwittingly witness an atrocious spectacle. A deadly virus is turning humans into zombies, and Claudio will have to rely on his survival instincts to try to make it out of that inferno alive.
The screenplay of The End? L'inferno fuori is by Cristiano Ciccotti (Adrenaline, "Hobo" in Connections) and Daniele Misischia while Leonardo Cruciano and Carlo Diamantini handled the special effects. The film is produced by Rai Cinema, Beta and Mompracem (a production company founded by Manetti Bros. and Carlo Macchitella).
The cast includes Alessandro Roja, Claudio Camilli, Euridice Axen, Bianca Friscelli, Benedetta Cimatti and Roberto Scotto Pagliara.
