Rogue Pictures has made available the first trailer and poster for The Disappointments Room, the supernatural horror film directed by D.J. Caruso (Disturbance) and played by Kate Beckinsale. The Disappointments Room will arrive in U.S. theaters on September 9. A date for a possible Italian release is currently unknown.
Plot: In order to save their failing marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Dana 
(Kate Beckinsale) and David (Mel Raido) move together with their son of a few years into an old country house. During renovations, the woman discovers the presence, in a corner of the attic, of a small locked door. In that room lies a terrible secret, and the spirits that dwell in the house will do their utmost to leave it buried.
Wentworth Miller has signed screenplay for the film. In addition to Kate Beckinsale, the cast includes Mel Raido, Lucas Till, Gerald McRaney, Michaela Conlin, Michael Landes, Robert McRary, Duncan Joiner, Jennifer Leigh Mann, Marcia DeRousse, Ella Jones, and Melissa Eastwood.
