L'anno scorso vi abbiamo parlato di Worry Dolls (here the news), l'horror sulle Guatemalan Worry Dolls, colorful cloth dolls that are said to free those who own them from worries. The Devil's Dolls is the current and final title that replaces the previous one.
The film, directed by Padraig Reynolds (Rites of Spring), is set to land in U.S. theaters on Sept. 19, the day it will also be made available for VOD. Meanwhile, IFC Midnight has released the new poster, which you can find below right.
Trama: la storia vede una cittadina del Mississipi tormentata dagli omicidi commessi da un serial killer che scatena un'atroce maledizione. Secondo un'antica tradizione guatemalteca, i genitori del posto regalano ai propri figli delle bamboline di stoffa realizzate a mano affinché li aiutino a dissipare le paure e a conciliare il sonno. The screenplay was co-written by Danny Kolker and Christopher Wiehl. The two also produced the film along with Greg Haggart and director Padraig Reynolds. Ted Ackerley and Greg Root, on the other hand, are the executive producers.
