As already anticipated last month (link all'articolo), The Devil's Candy (USA – 2015) esordirà nei cinema italiani il 7 settembre grazie a Midnight Factory. Oggi invece segnaliamo l'uscita del poster italiano del film, il cui protagonista è un artista vittima del male. Presentato in anteprima mondiale al Midnight Madness del Toronto International Film Festival, The Devil's Candy marks the return to direction of Sean Byrne, director of the remarkable The Loved Ones (2009), who also edited the screenplay.
Plot: Artist Jesse Hellman (Ethan Embry) moves to a new home in Texas with his wife Astrid and teenage daughter Zooey. The new home will exert a dark fascination on the father of the family and, slowly, lead him away from the family. Moreover, his paintings, influenced by satanic forces, become a mirror of his tormented soul. His wife and daughter then, will begin to fear Ray (Pruitt Taylor Vince), the son of the former owners of the house but perhaps he, like Jesse, is also subjugated by evil.
