Written and directed by Antonio Campos, The Devil All the Time boasts, in the cast, the presence of Robert Pattinson (The Lighthouse), Tom Holland (Spider-Man), Bill Skarsgård (IT), Mia Wasikowska (Piercing) and Riley Keough (Jack's House).
The movie is the film adaptation of the novel "The roads of evil" 82011) by Donald Ray Pollock and is produced by Jake Gyllenhaal.
The story sheds light on a Midwestern family in a time frame from the end of World War II to the Vietnam War. Willard Russell (Bill Skarsgård) is a broken man about to lose his wife to cancer, while his son Arvin (Tom Holland) is bullied at school.
Meanwhile, in Knockemstiff, Ohio, a group of nutty serial killers (Jason Clarke and Riley Keough), a mad preacher (Robert Pattinson) and a corrupt sheriff (Sebastian Stan) also act around this broken family.
Completing the cast are Jason Clarke, Sebastian Stan (The Apparition), Haley Bennett (Kristy) and Eliza Scanlen (Little Women - 2019).
