The Degenerates: february release announced for Robert Beckowitz extreme film with Goredrome

Gorehounds announced the release of The Degenerates, an extreme film written, directed and starring Jonathan Doe (Carving The Cadaver vol. 1, 2 3) in 2021.
This month Goredrome Pictures will release The Degenerates in a special Mediabook edition (Cover A, B and C) with 2 Blu-rays, Slipcase, 2 cards, for the first time in Europe.

The Degenerates story takes its cue from the horrific murder of Robert Beckowitz that occurred in 1982. On July 14 of that year, in Detroit, Michigan, Beckowitz was fatally shot in the back of the head by his friend James Glover, while watching television and then stabbed a hundred times. After the murder, Glover and the woman, Jeannine Clark, mutilated and desecrated the victim's body for three days, immortalizing their acts in a series of disturbing photographs of them posing with the dismembered corpse.
Glover was subsequently sentenced to 30-50 years in prison for the murder, while Jeannine Clark was sentenced to 10 for corpse mutilation.

Jonathan Doe's film, which also features Felicia Fisher (Barf Bunny), reimagines this grim episode, focusing on a couple who, after committing a murder, use the victim's body as a macabre center for their drug-fueled escapades.
