On March 10, the claustrophobic The Dark Below will be distributed on a limited basis in some U.S. theaters through Parade Deck Films. Directing it is Douglas Schulze, previously the author of horror films such as Dark Heaven, The Rain and Mimesis, per una sceneggiatura in cui ha collaborato egli stesso insieme a Jonathan D'Ambrosio.
In The Dark Below, Lauren Mae Shafer interpreta una donna che resta intrappolata in un lago ghiacciato. L'ostacolo è uno spietato serial killer che da fuori, sulla superficie di ghiaccio, tenta di farla morire assiderata o annegata.
