The cure from wellness (A Cure For Wellness) by Gore Verbinski (The Ring – 2002) continua a sorprendere grazie all'alone di surrealismo che lo avvolge. In occasione del suo debutto nelle sale statunitensi, sono stati appena diffusi infatti il trailer in stop motion e il poster che sono stati realizzati grazie all'uso di veri medicinali come capsule, pillole e compresse.

Trama: il giovane ed ambizioso Lockhart (Dane DeHaan) ha il compito di prelevare il suo capo da un istituto terapeutico in Svizzera. Qui i clienti vengono sottoposti a particolari trattamenti considerati miracolosi per la salute. Nel centro benessere però non c'è traccia dell'uomo e Lockhart decide di protrarre la sua permanenza nella struttura per fare delle indagini. Le sue ricerche però lo condurranno ad una verità terrificante.
