Raven Banner has released the official trailer for The Crescent (Canada - 2017), il surreale horror diretto dal musicista e regista Seth A. Smith su una sceneggiatura a firma di Darcy Spidle. Il film è stato presentato in anteprima mondiale al "Midnight Madness" del Toronto International Film Festival ed esordirà nelle sale cinematografiche canadesi il 10 agosto con Raven Banner.
The Crescent It mixes themes such as mourning, spiritual healing, and malevolent entities.
Trama: dopo la tragica perdita del marito, una donna si rifugia insieme al figlio nella casa estiva di famiglia per cercare di superare il lutto immergendosi nella solitudine, nelle natura e nell'arte. Il tentativo di rinascita della giovane però sarà ostacolato da una misteriosa forza proveniente dal mare che minaccerà di distruggerla per sempre facendola annegare nel dolore.
In the cast of The Crescent We find: Andrew Gillis, Amy Trefry, Britt Loder, Woodrow Graves, Danika Vandersteen, Chik White, and Terrance Murray. The film's soundtrack was composed by Seth A. Smith himself.
