The Conjuring: Last Rites - Release date announced for the latest chapter in the saga

Warner Bros. has announced the release date of The Conjuring: Last Rites, the fourth and final installment of the well-known horror franchise started in 2013 by James Wan.
The film will arrive in U.S. theaters on September 5, 2025, and will be directed by Michael Chaves, the director of The Curse of La Llorona and The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, two other chapters in the Conjuring Universe.

The Conjuring 4 marks the return of Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson, the franchise's stars who will once again play the roles of demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren.
The screenplay will be by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, who has already co-written the third chapter with James Wan, the creator of the franchise.

The franchise consists of three films in the main series, The Conjuring (2013), The Conjuring 2 (2016) and The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (2021) with the prequels/spin-offs Annabelle (2014), Annabelle: Creation (2017), The Nun (2018), The Nun II (2023) and The Curse of La Llorona (2019).
