Warner Bros. has released the final trailer for The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, the horror film that will be released in Italian theaters on June 2 under the title The Conjuring: By Order of the Devil.
Directed by Michael Chaves (La Llorona - The Tears of Evil), The Conjuring: By Order of the Devil Is the third chapter in the saga The Conjuring and marks the return of Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, here again in the roles of Ed and Lorraine Warren.
Written by David Leslie Johnson, the co-writer of The Conjuring - The Enfield Case, Michael Chaves' film is produced by Peter Safran and James Wan, the creators of the franchise.
In addition to Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, the cast also includes Ruairi O'Connor, Sarah Catherine Hook, and Julian Hilliard.
The story of The Conjuring: By Order of the Devil sheds light on Ed and Lorraine Warren's investigation into the real case of Arne Johnson, a man who confessed in the 1980s to killing homeowner Alan Bono at the behest of the devil. The 1981 "Arne Cheyenne Johnson Trial" is also known as the "Demon Murder Trial" or "Demon Murder Trial." The confessed offender was sentenced to serve 10 to 20 years in prison of which he served only five.
Before the murder, Johnson was visited by the Warrens, who ascertained his possession.
Plot: In the U.S., a man accused of murder claims he committed the crime because he was under the influence of demonic possession. Taking an interest in the case will be Mr. and Mrs. Warren (Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga), but during the investigation, the two demonologists discover an undefined paranormal activity.
