Full cast and crew for The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist, the sequel to The Summoning, which is scheduled to be released in theaters in Italy on June 8, 2016 thanks to Warner Bros. Italy. As has already been known since last year (link to news story), the direction was given to James Wan, who announced the official start of filming just these days.
Wan is also involved in the screenplay along with Carey and Chad Hayes (remake The Mask of Wax). The three are also joined by David Leslie Johnson, the screenwriter of Orphan, Blood Red Riding Hood and several episodes of the TV series" The Walking Dead."
The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist will tackle another case involving U.S. paranormal researchers Warren in the 1970s. Indeed, the sequel will deal with the case of the demonic possession of two English sisters in Enfield, during which materialization, levitation and conversations with the devil occurred.
The two demonologists will be played again by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga. Joining the cast are Frances O'Connor (The Missing), Madison Wolfe, Lauren Esposito, Patrick McAuley, Benjamin Haigh, Maria Doyle Kennedy, Simon Delaney, Franka Potente, and Simon McBurney.
Instead, the names of Peter Safran, Wan and Rob Cowan appear in the film's production.
