L'uscita al cinema di The Conjuring 2 has been brought forward to June 23 (originally July 7), according to an announcement on the film's official Facebook page. The Italian poster for the sequel to the L'Evocazione (James Wan - 2013), che troverete in basso a destra.
As with the first chapter, the story in the sequel is inspired by real events related to the paranormal cases in which Mr. and Mrs. Warren were involved in the past. In The Conjuring 2 - The Conjuring, the Warren demonologists (played again by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga) will tackle a new case of demonic possession involving a family in Enfield, England. Little Janet (Madison Wolfe), in particular, seems to be exhibiting the most obvious symptoms.
To the screenplay of The Conjuring 2 - The Conjuring also collaborated with director James Wan were Carey and Chad Hayes (remake The Mask of Wax) and David Leslie Johnson (the screenwriter of Orphan and Blood Red Riding Hood).
The cast includes Patrick Wilson, Vera Farmiga, Frances O'Connor (The Missing), Madison Wolfe, Lauren Esposito, Patrick McAuley, Benjamin Haigh, Maria Doyle Kennedy, Simon Delaney, Franka Potente, and Simon McBurney.
Instead, Peter Safran and Rob Cowan produced the film.
