Il film vanta nel cast il “Re del cinema horror indipendente”, ovvero l'immenso Bill Oberst Jr, a cui è stato conferito il ruolo della sadica guardia penitenziaria.
La storia si svolge in una tetra prigione all'interno della quale i reclusi vivono in pessime condizioni sia fisiche che psicologiche. Nel braccio della morte c'è Richard Sullivan (Timothy Muskatell) un prigioniero innocente, il quale assiste, come molti altri, alle torture che una guardia penitenziaria (Bill Oberst Jr.) infligge ai reclusi.
