the-chairThe Chair (USA-2015), the thriller/horror written by Erin Kohut and directed by Chad Ferrin, enjoys an official trailer that you can view at the bottom of the article. The film stars Bill Oberst Jr., known as the "King of Independent Cinema." The actor plays the role of an executioner and, specifically, a psychopathic prison guard who enjoys torturing inmates.

The Chair is based on the graphic novel of the same name published by Alterna Comics in 2008. The graphic novel is written by Peter Simeti, who co-authored the drawings with Kevin Christensen.
billThe cast includes other familiar faces such as Eric Roberts, Brian Thompson, Zach Galligan, and Naomi Grossman. In addition to these are Derrick Damions, Susan Eisenberg, Ezra Buzzington, Jacob Banser, Timothy Muskatell, Kin Shriner, Tomas Noykin and Kyle Hester.

Abstract: Richard Sullivan (Timothy Muskatell) is an inmate on death row. The man watches helplessly as torture is perpetrated against inmates every day at the hands of a sadistic warden.

The film is currently in post-production and will surely be completed by the end of February.
