To mark the release, Uncork'd Entertainment has released the new trailer for The Candy Witch (UK - 2020), the horror film about witchcraft directed by Rebecca J. Matthews (Pet Graveyard). The film will be released on DVD and arrive on VOD platforms on June 9, 2020 (US market).
Plot: Tormented by an evil spirit known in town as "Candy Witch" (Kate Lush), a family asks two ghost hunters for help. Dispelling the mystery of the curse, the paranormal researchers will discover a chilling truth related to the diabolical and ruthless entity. Will the two investigators be able to solve the case before more people are killed by the demonic spirit?
In the cast of The Candy Witch: Kate Lush, Abi Casson Thompson, Heather Jackson, Richard D. Myers, Will Stanton, Jon Callaway, Richard D. Myers , Shakil Hussain, Jon-Scott Clark and Kate Milner Evans.
The screenplay was written by Archie Dent and Suzy Spade while Rebecca J. Matthews herself appears in the production of the film along with Scott Jeffrey.
