STX Entertainment has made available the official trailer for. The Bye Bye Man (USA - 2016), the horror genre film directed by Stacy Title (Hood of Horror) and will land in U.S. theaters on January 13, 2017. The names of Trevor Macy and Marc D. Evans, the producers of Oculus - The Reflection of Evil and The Strangers, appear in the production of the film.
The film is partly inspired by actual events, but let's take a look at the plot below.
Synopsis: Three college students from Wisconsin live in a 
town where mysterious murders occur. The group reaches an old house, far from the campus but here they will be pursued by a malevolent entity known as "Bye Bye Man" and who will threaten their lives. To prevent more bloodshed, a secret inherent in the dark presence will have to remain buried.
Doug Jones (Quarantena, Hellboy, Il labirinto del fauno) interpreta l'entità maligna. Nel cast anche Carrie-Anne Moss, Douglas Smith (Santa’s Slay), Faye Dunaway (Occhi di Laura Mars), Cressida Bonas, Lucien Laviscount, Michael Trucco (Wishmaster 4) ed Erica Tremblay.
