The Boy (2016)

Very young actor Christopher Convery (Gotham - TV series, Millennium - The One Who Doesn't Kill) has joined the cast of The Boy 2, the sequel to the horror film directed by William Brent Bell in 2016. In addition to Convery, also confirmed in the cast is Katie Holmes (Don't Be Afraid of the Dark), here as Liza, mother of a 10-year-old boy (Christopher Convery).

Plot of The Boy 2: A young family moves into the Heelshire Mansion unaware of the estate's terrifying history. Once there, Jude, the couple's young son, befriends a realistic doll he names Brahms.

William Brent Bell (Stay Alive, Wer - The Metamorphosis of Evil) is reappointed in the directing booth while the screenplay is by Stacey Menear. Production, on the other hand, has been entrusted to STX Entertainment and Lakeshore Entertainment.
Filming will start on January 14, 2019 in Canada (Victoria).

Distributed in Italy by Eagle Pictures on May 12, 2016, The Boy is the story of Greta (Lauren Cohan plays), a girl who reaches out to an English family to babysit an eight-year-old boy. Once there, the young woman discovers to her horror that the little one she is to care for is none other than a life-size porcelain doll that the couple treats as if it were a child. In order to avoid problems with their “baby,” the elderly English couple asks Greta to abide by a set of rules.
