Online the poster and trailer of The Black Demon (2023), the shark movie based on a Mexican legend.
Written by Boise Esquerra and directed by Adrian Grünberg (Rambo: Last Blood), The Black Demon will be released in U.S. theaters on April 28.
The film stars Josh Lucas (Le Mans '66 - The Great Challenge), here as Paul Sturges, an oilman who takes his family on vacation to Bahia Negra, taking the opportunity to check out his oil rig off things Mexican. The town, however, is not what it once was, and despite the locals' warnings about the legendary "black devil," Paul reaches the platform, where he discovers that the rig has awakened a megalodon.
The man must then find a way to save the family from the prehistoric shark as everything slowly sinks.
The cast also includes Fernanda Urrejola (Cry Macho), Julio Cesar Cedillo (Sicario), Héctor Jiménez, Raúl Méndez, Venus Ariel, Jorge A. Jimenez and Edgar Flores.
