Started filming of The Best of Me, the first Albanian horror film produced by BAD TRIP Bros (link to news story) and featuring Domiziano Cristopharo (Red Krokodil, Doll Syndrome). Of the film we present a preview of several images from the set and some previously unseen stills in which we can see a marked variety of transformations and “practical” special effects of clear 80s and 90s appeal.
The Best of Me is a body horror described as a torturous journey into the mind of Ricardo Lopez (1975-1996), the Uruguayan-born U.S. criminal known for being the stalker of the famous Icelandic singer Bjork. Inspired by true events, The Best of Me addresses some of the details of Lopez's story by amalgamating them with other fictional facts.
In the role of the psychopath we find Jacopo Tomassini (Almost Dead, Mad Macbeth), il quale ha curato la sceneggiatura insieme ad Iva Cakalli. Il soggetto invece è di Domiziano Cristopharo. Alla scrittura del film troviamo anche il nome dell'ormai noto Andrea Cavaletto.

The cast also includes Bjordi Mezini (a well-known Albanian actor and director) and Elisa Carrera Fumagalli (seen in some projects by Davide Pesca and Ivan Zuccon).
Captained by Domiziano Cristopharo (former producer of international titles such as American Guinea Pig: Sacrifice), the artistic team of BAD TRIP Bros sees, heading the technical and FX department, Jacopo Tomassini for Italy and Iva Cakalli for Albania.
