Black Mandala has shared the trailer for The Behemoth, the satanic splatter horror film written and directed by Kai Edmund Bogatzki (Scars of Xavier).
Inspired by Lovecraftian mythology, the story follows a couple on holiday who encounters a dark cult set on bringing back a fearsome entity from the shadows.
The US release is scheduled for 2026.

Plot: Rebecca and Ryan retreat to a secluded mountain cabin in search of peace, where they are welcomed by Christine, their seemingly kind and supportive host. What begins as a quiet escape soon unravels into a nightmare as unsettling events tied to a long-forgotten cult, the Servants of Blood, begin to surface. As Christine attempts to flee a toxic relationship, she is abducted and prepared for an apocalyptic ritual. Rebecca, caught between love and mounting terror, discovers that she and Ryan are not mere witnesses, but essential pieces of the cult’s design.

The screenplay for The Behemoth was written by Kai Edmund Bogatzki, Rapsodies and Orso Vesperini, while the cast includes Beatrice Fletcher, Ryan Wichert and Daniele Rizzo.
