The Barn (USA – 2016), l'horror sulla notte di Halloween, sarà disponibile per il video on demand a partire dal 27 luglio con Terror Films. In occasione della release, è stato rilasciato il nuovo trailer ufficiale. Prodotto, scritto e diretto da Justin M. Seaman (segmento “The Deathday Party” in Volumes of Blood: Horror Stories), The Barn (here is our review) è un omaggio alla cinematografia horror degli anni '80. Il film gode tra l’altro della presenza, nel cast, della Scream Queen Linnea Quigley (The night of the demons, Return of the living dead) and Ari Lehman (Jason Voorhees in Friday the 13th).
Halloween 1989. Sam and Josh (Mitchell Musolino and Will Stout) are ready for a fun night out. Wandering around with other friends for classic trick-or-treating, the two end up knocking on an old abandoned barn where they awaken evil. For here the creepy creatures Boogeyman (Justin M. Seaman), Hallowed Jack and Candycorn Scarecrow will know how to put an end to their fun by turning their night of partying into true horror.
In the cast of The Barn there are also Mitchell Musolino, Will Stout, Lexi Dripps, Nikki Darling, Cortland Woodard, Nickolaus Joshua, Ryan Nogy, Rik Billock, David Hampton, James Weldon, and director Justin M. Seaman himself as the Boogeyman.
The Barn è vincitore di diversi award fra cui citiamo: "Best Old School Horror" (Fright Night Film Fest), "Best Cinematography" (Crimson Screen Horror Film), "Best Special Make-Up FX" (Hexploitation Film Fest) e "The Audience Choice Award" (Nevermore Film Festival).
