These days a new clip has been released of The Bad Batch (USA - 2016), il fanta/post-apocalittico sul cannibalismo che vede alla regia Ana Lily Amirpour, la regista del vampire movie A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night (2014). In The Bad Batch, giving the face of the protagonist kidnapped by a group of cannibals is Suki Waterhouse, already seen in PPZ: Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. The cast also boasts the presence of Keanu Reeves, Jim Carrey and that of Jason Momoa.
The film will see the light of day in U.S. theaters on June 23, 2017.
Plot of The Bad Batch: in un futuro distopico, le persone considerate difettose dalla società vengono espulse dagli Stati Uniti e relegate nel deserto del Texas. Tra i reietti c'è anche Arlen (Suki Waterhouse), una ragazza che viene catturata da un gruppo di cannibali che praticano culturismo, il cui leader è Joe (Jason Momoa). Tuttavia la giovane riesce a fuggire e a rifugiarsi nella zona governata da Dream (Keanu Reeves), un uomo molto ambiguo.
