XYZ has released, online, the trailer and poster for. The Artifice Girl, sci-fi horror film about artificial intelligence that won "Best International Feature" at the Fantasia Film Festival.
The film is written, directed and stars Franklin Ritch, here directing his first feature film, and stars Lance Henriksen (Aliens - Final Clash, Aliens vs. Predator).
Plot: A team of special agents discovers a revolutionary new computer program for luring and trapping online predators. After working with the program's developer, they discover that artificial intelligence is losing control and becoming a great danger.
The cast also includes Tatum Matthews, David Girard, Sinda Nichols, and Franklin Ritch.
The Artifice Girl will arrive in U.S. theaters on April 27.
